Rosehipseed

Rosehip seed oil is extracted from the bright red hips (the fleshy fruit left behind after a rose has flowered) of a specific variety of rose: Rosa rubiginosa or Rosa moschata.

Body / Skincare

A primary choice for skin rejuvenation & nutrition, as well as providing a host of anti-ageing properties, making it ideal for use in facial serums. Boosts the immune system, keeping skin in optimum health, keeping it soft, smooth & young-looking. This oil can be applied direct to the skin, or blended with essential oils for an aromatic body or massage oil.

Haircare

Can reduce dry scalp & itchiness when applied topically.

DIY / Tips

Apply twice daily directly to the face using gentle upward strokes, being careful not to drag on the skin, especially to the area around the eyes. Apply this oil daily to treat & prevent stretch marks during pregnancy & after birth.

Skin Types

Particularly good for normal, dry, itchy, sun-damaged & mature skin. Fantastic for the treatment & prevention of scars, fine lines & sun spots. It should not be applied direct to active acne, though is perfect for treating acne scars. Best avoided for regular use by those with oily skin.

Nutritional Value

A very rich source of Vitamin C, plus Vitamins A, D, E, F & B- carotene.
Also contains high levels of essential fatty acids, specifically oleic, palmitic, linoleic & gamma-linolenic (GLA).
