Description about PEP-THYME
PEP-THYME is a new product made from aromatic herbs that naturally contain volatile oils (Thymol and Menthol) known to aid easy breathing.
Pollution is a current problem in towns and cities around the world. Governments and local councils are rightly concerned about the growing problem and considering ways to curb vehicle emissions and various air pollutants. As a result of pollution a growing number of people are experiencing breathing problems and respiratory conditions attributed to the growing issue of contaminated air.
Recommended dosage: 1 capsule taken 3 x daily with water. Capsules can be emptied and hot water poured on to make a drink if preferred.

The two aromatic herbs used in Bio-Health Ltd. product “PEP-THYME“ are well known by Medical herbalists for their varied therapeutic use.
Thyme (Thymus vulgaris L.)
Parts used: Dried leaf and flowering tops, essential oil.
Constituents: Volatile oil including thymol, glycosides, flavonoids, bi-phenyl compounds, caffeic and rosmarinic acids, saponins.
Actions: Antimicrobial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, relaxing expectorant, antioxidant.
Indications: Upper respiratory conditions (catarrh, bronchitis, asthma, laryngitis).
Applications: Thyme has a calming influence on smooth muscle. Its antiseptic action is beneficial upper respiratory conditions and the expectorant action helps increase production of fluid mucous assuring a productive cough.
Peppermint (Mentha x piperata L.)
Parts Used: Dried leaf and volatile oil.
Constituents: Volatile oil (including menthol), sequiterpenes, flavonoids, phenolic acids, riterpenes.
Actions: Spasmolytic, carminative, antemetic. Locally antiseptic and analgesic.
Indication: Common cold.
Applications: As a nervine it acts as a tonic in anxiety and tension. Peppermints antemetic action promotes sweating in fevers and influenza.
NOTE: The product can be taken with Ekinalife, a traditional medicinal product used to relieve the symptoms of common cold and Influenza type infections, based on traditional use.
