How to Use It:
- Topical Application: Always dilute 5 drops of peppermint oil into 10ml of a carrier/base oil (like almond or jojoba oil) before applying to the skin.
- Inhalation: Add 3–4 drops to a bowl of hot water or a few drops to a tissue for quick relief from congestion.
- Vaporizing / Diffusing: Add 7–10 drops to water in a room diffuser to create an uplifting, energizing atmosphere

Adding essential oils to your bathing and shower routine can be so beneficial and helps start the day with positivity and vigour. There are a few ways you can use essential oils to feel refreshed, ease tension and invigorate the senses.
Make your own uplifting shower oil: Upgrade your shower gel quickly and cheaply by adding to the bottle a few drops (3 - 5) of reviving and uplifting essential oils. Try citrus oils such as grapefruit, lemon, orange and combine with either rosemary, eucalyptus, lavender or peppermint.
Essential oil shower drops: A simple and easy thing to do, simply add a few drops of citrus essential oils to the shower floor, (try grapefruit or lime) then turn on the shower to release an uplifting scent before you step in. The shower steam will mix with the oils so you can gain the benefits through inhalation.
Exfoliate and apply body oil: For a whole body pamper, gently exfoliate the whole body with a bath mitt or flannel, then massage in a body oil such as Aqua Oleum’s ‘Purity’ (which contains grapefruit and geranium) for its stimulating and detoxing effects. The steam from the bath or shower and the exfoliating rub will aid the absorption of the natural oil blend, whilst creating silky smooth skin.
